RadioPublic helps you discover new shows and podcast episodes, but it’s also a great way to listen to the shows you already hear.
Add a show by name
Do you already listen to podcasts? You can add them to RadioPublic.
- Tap Explore (compass icon) and you’ll see a search icon
- Tap the search icon and start typing, you’ll see a list of shows
- Tap a show in the list
- Like what you see, tap follow and we'll suggest episodes from that show
That’s it. You’ll now see episodes from the show appear in your home feed and in Explore
Add a bunch of shows at once
If you already use another podcast app you can import your current subscriptions into RadioPublic using OPML. It isn’t as scary as it sounds.
Use another podcast app?
Already have an OPML export of your podcast subscriptions?
Awesome! Visit https://opml.co upload your OPML file or email your OPML file to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll create a link to import all your podcasts into RadioPublic.
What about Stitcher, Spotify and Google Play Music?
Those apps don't use standard podcast technologies that allow you to import or export shows you follow so you’re out of luck.
Add a show with a feed link
This is pretty simple too and most shows provide the link you’ll need on their website. Look for a link that ends in .rss or .xml — these are special documents that podcasters publish to make their shows available to apps like RadioPublic.
- Tap the profile icon in RadioPublic, you'll see a settings icon
- Tap the settings icon
- Paste the RSS link
- Add the show
That’s it. Now episodes from the show you added will appear in your home feed.
