Super easy method for Apple Podcasts
This is for iOS only, open up RadioPublic and go to your profile, tap Settings. In the upper right you'll see "Import" tap it and you'll see a list of Podcast apps on your device. Tap Apple Podcasts and we'll walk you through the process of getting the podcasts you subscribe to into RadioPublic.
NOTE: You must have at least one episode downloaded in Apple Podcasts for each podcast you want to import into RadioPublic.
More complicated but complete method for iTunes and Apple Podcasts
If you would like to import your existing podcast subscriptions into RadioPublic you need to sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod with iTunes first.
Export subscriptions from Apple iTunes
Once you have synced your device you can export the OPML file from iTunes. Open iTunes (on your computer) -> File -> Library -> Export playlist. Save the file as podcast.opml.
Import Apple Podcast subscriptions into RadioPublic
Email your OPML file to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send you a link you can use to import your podcasts. Open up RadioPublic → Your Profile → Settings and then paste the link from the email email@example.com sends you.
It’s simple to import your existing podcast subscriptions into RadioPublic if you are using Pocket Casts for iPhone or iPad. Tap Edit → Scroll down and tap → Settings → tap Sync & Backup → tap Export.
It’s simple to import your existing podcast subscriptions into RadioPublic if you are using Overcast. Click on Settings → Scroll down and tap → Export OPML → tap Mail.
What about Stitcher, Spotify and Google Play Music?
Those apps don't use standard podcast technologies that allow you to import or export shows you follow so you’re out of luck. Sorry.
